Unable to view chat messages in YAHOO MESSENGER

FINAL SOLUTIONS

Scripts java / vb scripts disabled in your systems
Solution:
Start - Run - regsvr32 jscript.dll - OK
then
Start - Run - regsvr32 vbscript.dll – OK

Yahoo messenger not installed properly
Solution:
Uninstall & Reinstall yahoo messenger

Scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer
Solution:
1. Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options."
2. Click the "Security" tab.
3. Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.
4. Scroll down to "Scripting."
5. Enable the following:
* Active scripting
* Allow paste operations via script
* Scripting of Java applets are all enabled
6. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.
Note: Restart Yahoo! Messenger and you should start seeing text in your IM windows again.

Scan your system using trusted Anti virus (Like :Symantec)
Use Malware bites to scan

Bug in Yahoo Messenger
"Some virus can cause this bug in Yahoo Messenger. Check your Internet Options, go to Security Tab, and see if there is a new item. Normal items there are Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted sites, and Restricted sites. If you see a new item, chances are you were hit by a virus.

To resolve this, open a registry editor (click Start, click Run. On the Open box, type: regedit and then press Enter). Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft\ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings \ Zones

There should only be 5 items there, numbered 0 to 4. If you see a different one, especially if you see items that shows up as box, try deleting it. (Backup your registry first). If you were able to delete that extra item, this might fix the bug, and you will be able to see the chat messages again in yahoo messenger." This solutions should work.
